Keeley
A woman left her rabbit with her sister, without even asking! The poor
sister knew nothing about rabbits, and didn’t even want one a rabbit! But she took care of him the best that she could until we finally were able to
take him.
Keeley is shy at first, but who wouldn't be shy if we'd been abandoned and unwanted? However, he is friendly if we give him the time to take our measure. He is going to be SO happy when he finds out there people who really, really like rabbits and want them a LOT!

Naomi
A woman had established a rescue organization called "Little
Bit o’ Love" in Carpenter, WY. Sadly, she had little help, but
couldn’t say "no" to animals who were to be killed in animal
shelters.
Eventually, there were just too many animals without adequate care. So "Little Bit o’ Love" was shut down. Naomi was one of 19 rabbits who came from there.
Lovely Naomi used to bunk with Esther, but the two of them recently decided they'd both rather find some boybunns to live with. Naomi is a bit shy, but does enjoy being petted. Come in and meet her and fall in love with her long, dark mysterious ears. You'll be glad you did.

Autumn
A woman had established a rescue organization called "Little Bit o’ Love" in Carpenter, WY. Sadly, she had little help, but just couldn’t say "no" to animals who were destined to be killed in animal shelters. Eventually however, there were just too many animals without adequate care. So "Little Bit o’ Love" was shut down.
Autumn came to us with Janelle, two of the 19 rabbits who came to us from there. Autumn is cautiously friendly and gentle with a sweet face, cute ears, and lots of love to give to the people who adopt them. Besides having a "heart of gold", this princess of a bunny comes in a coat of gold, too, and is obviously quite a treasure.
Autumn - DOB: 2009 Weight: 5-1/2 lbs

Beau
Beau was abandoned at a vet's office. He has no idea why - he isn't sick and he liked his home. But after all, he thinks he got luckier than some rabbits who get abandoned in vacated houses or just put outdoors to fend for themselves.
He is a handsome fellow who certainly lives up to his name. "Come visit me, bring your ladybunn, and if you two choose me, I'll light up your life. Even though my fur looks dark, I am full of light and love!"
Beau has been paired with Whitney. Photo of the couple should be up soon.

Phoebe and Miranda and Jasper
These three bunnies have had quite a checkered past. First, they were rescued by a group in Wyoming. "Okay, we're safe now", they must have thought.
Then they were taken to our satellite in Grand Junction. "Well, NOW we'll find the right home", supposed the trio.
From our satellite, they've now come to Denver to find a bigger audience to hear their pleas for a nice secure home with patient people who will allow them to blossom into the lovely bunnies they really are. "Please?" their eyes plead.
Phoebe - DOB: 2009-04 Weight: 4-1/2 lbs
Miranda - DOB: 2009-04 Weight: 5-1/4 lbs
Jasper - DOB: 2009-04 Weight: 4-1/2 lbs

Gus
The Cheyenne Animal Shelter had a bunny who had given birth to seven babies. When only three days old, the six surviving babies and mom (Stella) were transported to us, but the babies were scattered out all over a couple of square feet of sawdust, so they arrived nearly dead from cold! Of those babies, only two survived.
Just a few days later, we got another baby down from this shelter and found that he, Austin, was a baby born to Stella just a month earlier! So we popped him into the crate with Stella and her youngest, and the three babies spent their early weeks together. This young boy-bunn gained the name Gus Gus 'cause as a chubby lil' babe, he so reminded us of the Cinderella mouse character.
Here you'll find a
slideshow
of these adorable babies growing up together. Gus Gus has been just about the cutest thing going, although recently he's been deemed old enough to just go as Gus - an all grown up boy. He and his sister Cassie became a pair, and Austin,a single. Sadly, Cassie died from what appears to have been a congenital defect, leaving Gus looking for a family with a girl bunn to give him a forever home.

Louise
Louise came to us from HSBV where she missed out on finding a home at a shelter less equipped to bring in people looking for rabbits. And so here she is, a lovely little 4 lb rabbit just born in 2008.
She is a sweet girl looking for a sweet boy to turn his lonely bachelor days into happily-ever-after bunny bliss.

Kolynn and Max
Kolynn is a cute little ladybunn who found herself surprised to find she'd became a stray. Next thing she knew, she'd come in out of the cold and was living at the Cheyenne, WY animal shelter. That was better. Then she came to us where there were lots of other rabbits and really good care. That was even better. Then the handsome Max then became her hus-bunn - WOW, that that was SO much better! Soon, what seemed like the very best yet happened and the happy couple went to a new home together.
But that wasn't to last, as sadly, their people were shipped to Korea and to Afghanistan at the same time, which they'd been told would not be allowed to happen! And so, these two bunnies, who are both curious, lively and friendly, are now waiting for another family to give them a really, truly Forever Home. "Most everything that has happened to me seemed to be for the best, so a little bunny girls heart just has to hope that the next family I adopt will be the best bunny family and keep us forever and ever and ever," whispers the sweet Kolynn to her maximum boy, Max.

Riley
This little lady came to us from the Humane Society of Boulder Valley. They sent her to us because she had nipped someone (who probably didn’t know how to approach her).
We're happy to have her here as she is actually the most friendly of little rabbits and we know she will have find a home quickly. Isn't it strange how people who don't know animals as well as they should are so quick to judge behavior they may cause by their own carelessness or fear? Riley hopes, "...the people who come to see me will have a boybunn who is as cute and as sweet as I am. And I'll bet he'll have already taught them that loving a rabbit is the ONLY way to go"!

Sally and Sammy
We don’t know how Sally and Sammy came to be at the Table Mountain Animal Center, and they're not sayin' nuthin' about it at all. But from there, they came to us and have settled in here quite well.
Both of them are cautiously friendly, and clearly long for people they can get to know well so they can throw caution to the wind and be really frienldy - they way they always knew they wanted to be when they could trust the people they live with.
Sally - DOB: 2005 Weight: 6-1/2 lbs
Sammy - DOB: 2006 Weight: 6 lbs

Austin is now a single, looking for a girl-bunn who wants to share her life and home with him.
