Occasionally a rabbit will not seem to like any rabbit with whom we try to pair them. If after many failed attempts to pair a rabbit with another rabbit of either gender, we will allow such a rabbit to be adopted as a single rabbit. Our hope is that these rabbits will be adopted into homes where humans are home much of the time so the rabbits, who still need companionship, won't be alone for long hours on a regular basis. Rabbits such as these may also find friendship with other household companion animals such as gentle dogs, cats, or even guinea pigs. However to ensure everyone's safety, the family animals must be carefully monitored and never left alone together.
